I would greatly appreciate your support with a project I am working on regarding natural healing, featuring hands-on-healing, spiritual healing,
meditation, prayer, visualization and other non-invasive, transformational methods.

If you have any feed-back and comments whether anecdotal, factual, clinical, scientific, fantasy or otherwise, I would love to take a look at them.
So don't judge them - just send them.

I am researching the following;

1. Miracle cures, or spontaneous remissions from life-threatening conditions.

Power of prayer in healing, or achieving goals.

3. The power of touch in healing.

4. Attitudinal shifts that brought about major changes in health, relationships, self-esteem, and prosperity

Positive goal setting that produced the desired results in any aspect of living.

6. Any examples of how changing one's thinking changed one's whole life. ("When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change" - Wayne Dyer.)

I am of the opinion that the medical culture of "Cut, Burn, Poison" is a belief system, and that one can survive and flourish outside of that mind-set.
Example: Morphine gives a degree of comfort to the suffering patient, but there is a good chance he/she will die from the effects of that drug on his/her body, rather than the illness that he/she is being treated for.

There are a growing number of people who are of the conclusion that Drug Therapy is a one-way street to death, within the belief system that death is inevitable.

Likewise, it is my opinion that surgery other than to repair physical damage, is a futile attempt to do 'anything' rather than 'nothing', to access revenue, and placate the suffering patients and their families and friends. Example: Using the knife on cancer can, and very often does allow, or even cause it to metastasize, and spread to other organs and tissue.

It is common to find that many long, protracted, complicated, very expensive and very painful medical procedures are carried out on young children, which produce little if any benefit, or advantage to the child, but give the parents the feeling of "at least we are doing something".

My objective is not to terrorize anyone, but to focus more on the positive options of healing and prayer, along with complementary and alternative healing methodologies, with the focus more on the healing and prayer. There is already enough fear out there, to which I have no desire to add. I want to find a way to inspire people to take back personal responsibility, and take charge of their lives, rather than ride the roller coaster.

I have not personally visited/consulted a medical doctor for alamost 40-years, and consider myself to be a healthy 60-year-old. I do believe that good health is the result of avoiding the use of pharmaceuticals and other harmful substances, along with the associated mind-sets, which of themselves can be very harmful.

I also rely heavily on meditation, hands-on-healing and prayer, even though I am not a religious person.

I use Reiki and other healing methods on myself daily, just as I eat, drink, and perform my other routine activities - no big deal.
I take responsibility for what I put in my body.

I also know that if I have a "Big Mac" today it won't kill me. Thinking that it might kill me is more harmful than actually eating it.

Having said that, I don't eat a lot of junk food, but if I do I bless it and choose that it will not harm me.
Attitude has a lot to do with it.

I do however, take the time to notice what I am thinking (and feeling), and am aware of how often I am impacted by the information I read or hear in the media concerning health.
I constantly remind myself that that is not my reality, and am usually clear about the reality I choose.
Daily we read or hear information and statistics that speak of doom and gloom, and how something is going to get you. Remember, a couple of years ago, they announced a "Flu Pandemic" with experts appearing on news and talk shows urging "everyone" to get their Flu shot as soon as possible. Within weeks there was a shortage of the vaccine due to contamination of the product, and those same experts were back assuring everyone that only the elderly, the very young, and those with health challenges need to take the vaccine. Everyone else take vitamin-C and they should be OK!

Forgive me if I seem cynical, but doesn't this sound like a marketing strategy gone wrong?

--- "and here are today's specials!"

Notice how many people obediently develop flu, allergies, or hay fever because the service announcement on CNN sponsored by the drug companies announce that it is that time of year again. This is not rocket science! The three top brands of allergy medicine collectively sold over $4Billion in the US in 2002, according to market reports (April '03). Health is not big business. Illness is where the real money is!
That is why they keep selling disease on TV and radio. It is my opinion that Pharmaceuticals are not designed to make you better, but to maintain your illness at a tolerable level, so you will keep taking the medicine. This is no different from the other 'drug-dealers' who want you back tomorrow for another fix. Go figure!

My point is that as we are now in what is loosely termed the "Information Age", and that information is more often the cause of people's sickness, disease, aging and death, than the circumstances and conditions they live in.

Again, I welcome your responses and comments whether anecdotal, factual, clinical, scientific, fantasy or otherwise.

Feel free to reply on or off-line.

Please do not judge your response, as I will welcome it regardless. I will not challenge your comments, although I may ask for more information. I am not setting anyone up for an argument. I am simply looking for inspiration and support in researching the topics listed at the top of this note, and anything you might feel is related to them,
and produce a more positive outcome.

Thank you for your support and cooperation.
