by Mark McFeely A long time ago, an acquaintance told me a story of how he manifested something. JP had the desire to become a millionaire over a period of a few years. One of the steps he chose on the way was to manifest his dream car, at a price that he could afford. With this goal in mind he drew up a wish list for the car, which included the make, model, year, style, color, interior finish, seats, trim, engine specifications, etcetera. Having done so, got a very clear picture and feeling for the car, which made his dream very realistic. He then forgot about his project. Some time later, his girlfriend (future wife) came to him and asked that he accompany her to the local Chrysler dealer. She wanted to buy a particular car but she didn’t feel that she could handle the stress of dealing with a car salesman on her own. JP agreed to accompany her to the dealership later that afternoon. As
they pulled into a space in the parking lot, a salesman approached JP’s
side of the car, and greeted him as soon as he opened his door. The
salesman excused himself and disappeared around the back of the dealership.
He returned a few minutes later, driving a yellow Cadillac with all of
the specifications as on JP’s list. The salesman rolled the window
down as he pulled up beside JP and asked, “Is this what you are
looking for?” The salesman then proceeded, “Well, I have to inform you that technically this is not a new car as it has been registered a few days ago, and has several hundred miles on the odometer. Would you care to make me an offer?” Although
he was bewildered by what was going on, he made a ‘low-ball’
offer for the car. The salesman obviously didn’t like the offer,
but was obliged to present it to his sales manager. He returned a few
minutes later and said, “The manager turned down your offer. Can
you make a better one that that?” JP
was flabbergasted. Was this guy playing with him or what? As they walked
into the sales office, JP asked, “What is going on here? Are you
messing with me?” Naturally, JP took advantage of that extraordinary situation, and promptly completed the transaction. Later that day he looked at how that might have happened, and came up with what I consider a plausible scenario, using the analogy of radio transmitters and receivers. He had beamed out his request to the Universe, and many people had unconsciously picked up on that signal. Without even being aware of it, they had each cooperated in fulfilling his wish; his girlfriend, the persistent salesman, the partner who originally bought the Cadillac, the friends and colleagues who teased him about driving it, the buddies who spoiled his golf game that morning, and all of the other people who did not come to the dealership to take advantage of those conditions. All of the players were synchronized in fulfilling JP’s wish. JP’s story is a perfect example of “synchronicity”. It illustrates how these things can, and do happen. When we get clear about a goal, and put it out there, we attract the people who resonate with it (and with us) to show up and set things in place for us. This is where the magic comes from. Most of us realize that we usually get what we are putting out for, but we are not always conscious of what it is we are putting out there. A lot of what shows up is not what we think we want. This process is in play whether we are conscious or not, so choose what you want, and make it clear and simple Synchronicity is the word. Basically, it comes down to what we are transmitting, and who is picking up on that transmission. Become conscious of your daily transmissions, and manifest your heart’s desires. Dream
on!
